About Us:
The WI was formed in 1950. There are 10 members ranging from 40+ to maybe 80ish. We enjoy all our activities.

An Evening of Art
Cath Corran our president brought pictures and outlines of those pictures for us to paint to get the feel of painting with the hopes of us going on further.
A very interesting evening was had by all

Maritime and coast guard Service (John Hope)
Our speaker did not turn up so Rosemary Brookes-Tee brought her embroidery and showed us the various types of stitches to make a large variety of pictures, cushions bookmarks and samplers. They were all beautiful.

A Holiday in Poland
Rosemary Brookes-Tee gave a talk and showed us pictures of the months holiday she and Peter had in Poland. It was in the style of a diary so we found out what the weather had been like and what the food had been in the area of that day. The weather had gone from very warm in the lower parts and into snow further up the mountains. also the food changed considerably with the areas ( and the camping site).
