About Us:
We
currently have 41 members. We have tended the railway garden on
Lazonby Station for several years as a community project and will
continue to do so.
We have a Stepping
Out Walking Group which meets fortnightly, we average 3 to 4 miles per
walk enjoying a cup of tea at the end. A small group go
swimming every Friday. We enter and enjoy the Pairs and Team
Darts, also the Bowling matches. Grace Sinton holds a Knit and
Natter in her home once a month in the winter; we knit blankets or
vests for children at home and overseas. This year, as it is Her
Majesty the Queen's Diamond Jubilee, Lazonby WI are hosting an over
60's tea party for residents of Lazonby.
