About Us:

We are 30 lively-minded women of mature years (as it happens) but young-at-heart, who meet once a month in the attractive and welcoming Kingmoor  Business & Community Centre, a purpose-built Community Unit attached to Kingmoor Junior School, Liddle Close, Lowry Hill, Carlisle.  The Centre has its own kitchen and facilities for slide shows etc and we are well looked after by Centre Manager Catherine Herd.  We aim to provide an entertaining and educational series of speakers covering a wide range of topics and to fully support the Cumbria-Cumberland Federation of WI’s, who provide sporting and cultural competitions and activities so we can meet fellow members from throughout the County and beyond.  We organise a formal & several informal outings throughout the year.
