BUGS AND BUTTERFLIES

COMPUTER SKILLS FOR BEGINNERS

Monday 19 and 26 March 2012

at Carlisle United Learning Centre

Do you feel you are being left behind in this technological age?  This is your opportunity to find out how to use those programmes on your computer.  With Carlisle United Learning Centre, we are offering 2 free half day classes, with the option to enrol on a 10 hour course.  Members will proceed at their own pace with support from a tutor.

FEDERATION WALK

Meet at public car park in Pooley Bridge

Come and join us for a walk on Askham Fell and along Ullswater shore, approx 6 miles.

Waterproofs and boots or sensible walking shoes are essential.

TRIP TO HAWES AND RICHMOND

Pick up points at Carlisle and Penrith


A luxury coach will convey you through the Cumbria and Yorkshire countryside to arrive at Hawes mid morning.  A tour of the Hawes Creamery will include a cheese demonstration and tasty morsels to try.  Either buy your lunch in the restaurant or bring a picnic.  After lunch you will be taken to the quaint old town of Richmond where you can explore or visit the castle.

NFWI ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING

Wednesday 30 May 2012

Royal Albert Hall, London

Delegates will be travelling to London by coach on Tuesday 29 May and staying 2 nights at the Hilton Metropole Hotel, returning on Thursday 31 May.  There are a limited number of observer tickets for members who would like to attend the AGM at £17.00 each.  Transport can be provided on the delegates coach and accommodation, if desired, can also be booked, cost to be confirmed.
